SpaceBound is seeking a full-time Accounting Assistant who is motivated and professional with integrity and a scrutinizing eye for detail and accuracy.  The Accounting Assistant plays an important role in assisting the Controller with various responsibilities involving, but not limited to, A/P, A/R, Shipping Invoice Analysis, Vendor Billing Verification, Credit Card Report Processing, and other financial analysis as needed.  Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to determine proper accounting classifications, analyze Company’s financials, be mindful of deadlines, and make sound recommendations to management regarding resource utilization and tax strategies. Job Description:  This is an entry level position in which the accounting assistant provides support within the accounting department and to various departments as needed.  Employee performs a range of assignments within the accounting department to include, but not limited to, processing daily accounting reports, compiling shipping and warehouse reports, creating Excel spreadsheets as needed, marking invoices for payment, administrative functions – copying, faxing, filing, etc.  This is a job for someone who enjoys diversity.
